This summer, we had the privilege to be a host family to the Katoka family from Japan. They stayed with us for a month and we hope that they will come back
every summer. It was a great experience for our family to learn about a new culture and language. What did we learn? Japanese are kind, humble people who care deeply about family, nature and education. Personally, I LOVE to learn about world cultures and languages because it gives me a global perspective and love for life. ありがとう
